I’m Mike Skinner, Managing Partner here at Hemingway.
I spend my time working with both corporate customers and start-up’s, helping them design, develop and deliver new businesses and products to market.
My passion and expertise lies in developing and nurturing the core skills that allow my clients to identify, validate and solve market problems with new products or through start-up businesses.
I use a combination of coaching and mentoring combined with structured, replicable methodologies to nurture a culture and core competency for market driven product design. I provide both the knowledge and the tools that ensure my clients gain an ongoing ability to excel in identifying, validating and delivering on market needs.
As well as my consulting activities, I lecture on Product and Channel Strategy for the Marketing Associations Certificate in Marketing and advise start-up’s at Massey Universities E-Centre Business Incubator on market and product strategy.
I established Hemingway Partners in 2008 and am responsible for both the management of the practice as well as the development and delivery of our consulting services, training programs and investment businesses.
Prior to this I held numerous executive and hands-on product and marketing roles with both start-ups and corporate businesses in Australasia, Asia and the U.S.
